Jocelyn Ting, LAMFT

Clinical Psychotherapist

As a psychotherapist, my work is grounded in a deep respect for each individual’s unique inner world. I practice from a compassion-based and client-centered perspective, believing that healing begins in a safe, non-judgmental space where people feel deeply seen and heard. While therapy can support healing, it can also be a path toward something more—a process of becoming, of expanding awareness, deepening connection, and engaging with life in more meaningful and authentic ways.

I bring to this work over 25 years of experience in the field of education, which continues to inform my relational and developmental lens. This background has given me a lifelong appreciation for how people grow, learn, and make meaning across different stages of life.

In our sessions, I aim to gently explore your inner world, helping you make sense of emotions, patterns, and experiences that may feel difficult to name or fully understand. My approach is reflective and curious, grounded in the belief that deep insight and connection can lead to real transformation.

I also work with children, approaching each young person with a spirit of curiosity, patience, and respect. Rather than rushing to interpret or direct, I seek to accompany children over time, building a relationship that allows them to feel safe enough to explore their inner world. Through play, conversation, and quiet observation, I support them in forming deeper connections with themselves, others, and the world around them. This work often serves as a powerful mirror — reminding us all of the importance of staying curious about who we are, how we relate, and the contexts we live within.

In our work together, you can expect a thoughtful, attuned presence and a collaborative process where your insight, autonomy, and pace are always honored.
